- House Calls by Resident Doctors
Upon request, home visits by Resident Doctors can be arranged. These doctors are well-experienced in long-term care. They are able to carry out certain forms of treatment within the setting of patients’ homes. They are also able to provide advice regarding long-term care of homebound patients.
- Home Nursing
State Registered Nurses are able to visit patients at their homes and carry out certain clinical procedures (such as urinary catheterization, change of nasogastric feeding tube and wound dressings).
- Outpatient Medical Treatment
Resident Doctors provide outpatient consultation for patients requiring long-term care.
- Palliative Care
Palliative care provides relief from pain and other distressing symptoms when one is suffering from terminal illness. It allows dying as a natural process, without intending to either accelerate or postpone death. It also integrates the psychological and spiritual aspects of patient care and offers a support system to help patients live as enthusiastically as possible, until death. It also offers a support system to help family members cope with the patient’s ailment and their own bereavement.

The Department of Physiotherapy aims to deliver tailor-made treatment options for injuries or medical conditions, in order to enhance mobility and quality of life. Besides treating patients, therapists also emphasise on patient education to avoid future injuries and maintain desired levels of personal fitness.
Medical equipment such as hospital beds, pressure-relieving mattresses and oxygen concentrators can be rented on a weekly or monthly basis.
When caregivers need to take a break, patients may be admitted on a short-term basis, without any minimum length of stay requirements.
