Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Services

Current endoscopy service packages:

1. Gastroscopy – Topical Anesthesia

2. Gastroscopy – Painless/Light Sedation

3. Colonoscopy – Painless/Light Sedation

4. Flexible Sigmoidoscopy – Painless/Light Sedation

5. Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy – Painless/Light Sedation

With these endoscopy services, patients will receive:

• A pre-endoscopy consultation with the doctor to assess current symptoms, review underlying medical conditions and medications, and determine the most appropriate procedure type, whether gastroscopy, colonoscopy, or a combination of both.

• The option to choose between topical anesthesia, using a throat anesthetic spray before the procedure, or painless endoscopy with short-acting sedation, allowing rapid recovery and no discomfort during the examination.

• Endoscopy performed in a sterile procedure room using a modern Olympus endoscopy system with NBI technology.

• If abnormalities such as polyps are detected during the procedure, the doctor may perform polyp removal during the same session, with prior counselling and notification to the patient.

• Immediate post-procedure consultation with the doctor to review the findings, explain any lesions if present, and provide advice on treatment direction, dietary care, and appropriate follow-up.
